Make a healthy plan for the holidays.

Fall-colored leaves falling to our feet, cold air, shorter days—the holidays are right around the corner.  Be sure to make yourself a priority in your holiday planning this year so you can enjoy the beauty of the season without compromising your weight loss program.

We know it isn’t always easy to make healthy choices which means - preparation is the name of the game! Here are some ways to set yourself up for success in the weeks ahead.

  • Think about past holiday seasons; what were your greatest challenges around food, drink, exercise, and “me time”.  How can you do things differently this year? Try this:  on a piece of paper write two columns: CHALLENGES on the left side and SOLUTIONS (for each challenge) on the right side. Frequently review your solutions side and adjust as you find new strategies.

  • Learn to say “no thank you” to unwelcome or low-priority demands on your time. Make yourself the priority.

  • To ensure you have food at hand that will support your weight loss protocol, makes a weekly list of what you will shop for, and write out a basic meal plan for the week. That way you won’t be caught off guard. Keep some basics in your freezers like frozen cauliflower rice, and heat and serve chicken filets or low-fat meatballs. And eggs are a fantastic way to ensure you are having enough of your own protein!  And don’t run out of your Ideal Protein foods – these high-bio available meals and snacks are essential to get your required nutrients for weight loss– and to feel energized!

Our Ideal Protein medically designed protocol can help you lose weight this holiday season rather than gain. Now, how great is that!
